We are now looking for a Subsea Controls Engineer for one of our customers based in Stavanger.
Duration: 02.03.2026 - 01.03.2029
Responsibilities:
The Subsea Controls engineer will be responsible for supporting the planning and safe execution of the project with specific focus on the activities associated with the SPS Control System, such as subsea control modules, electrical harnesses, hydraulic flying leads with connection plates, P/T sensors, flowmeters, sand detectors and Hydrocarbon Leak Detection system.
The Subsea Controls engineer will also be supporting delivery of the topside part of the Subsea Control System, such as the topsides installed SPCU and integration with the MCS.
The Subsea Controls Engineer is part of the technical team reporting to the System Integration Lead, providing support to the SPS delivery team and interfacing with the Asset Operations Team.
Have the system ownership and lead the technical integration of the control system
Manage interfaces concerning the control system and the control umbilical delivery, including internal and external stakeholders.
Provide field knowledge to the SPS delivery team, including lessons learned and project management best practices
Ensure design according to Design Basis and Functional Requirements, and implementation of these into the overall control system design
Responsible for discipline document review
Support and drive continuous improvement across project
